Transform your life, one powerful question at a time.

Transform

your life, one powerful question at a time.

Unlock deep insights to stop the cycle of self-sabotage—forever.

Everyday, from the moment we wake, each of us has tens of thousands of thoughts running on a repeating soundtrack in our heads. Thoughts like, "I shouldn’t have…. They should have... I need them to… If only they would…"

Our minds analyze every detail of our lives in an effort to make sense of our experiences. At first glance, this mental busywork might seem harmless. But when we take a closer look, the truth becomes clear—so many of our thoughts restrict our potential, and keep us stuck in a state of near-constant anxiety, irritation, disappointment and pain.

Replaying past disappointments and future what-if scenarios on a loop

Always trying to fix everyone else around you, so you can finally feel okay

Carrying the weight of other people’s problems as your personal burden

Thinking disaster can be avoided if you remain in control

Feeling you just aren't enough, and never have enough

Feeling angry and frustrated, no matter what the day brings

If this sounds like you (and your mind) please know you're not alone! Our lives are filled with so much complexity and uncertainty that it's easy to get tangled up in stress and overwhelm. Most of the time, we all just push our troubles out of our minds to get through the day.

Most of use the following three mistakes to try to escape these never-ending thoughts and the persistent dissatisfaction they bring to our lives.

MISTAKE 1

Believing Our Thoughts

Our minds have built-in biases that prevent us from seeing past what we think we already know and understand. Trying to continually think our way through our problems only addresses what we are already aware of, or what makes sense to our rational mind. A vast reservoir below our conscious threshold remains unexplored, and our deepest insights stay buried.

MISTAKE 2

Trying to Bypass Pain

Positive thinking is designed to shift our awareness to what is working well in our lives, and gratitude is a very important practice. However, gratitude cannot and does not address foundational discomfort, pain, and fear. Without careful guidance, many of us simply skim the surface of life, feeling dissatisfied and incomplete (and guilty for not being more grateful.)

MISTAKE 3

Ignoring Our Body’s Wisdom

We spend so much of our time and energy distracting, staying busy, or arguing with reality that we never dip into our body’s somatic wisdom. The body’s way of communicating is through sensations. Rather than overriding or ignoring these messages, we need to slow down and really listen. Your body is wise, and has insights that will transform your life.

I’m Dr. Marion Lodato, The Insight Coach.

I know firsthand how hard it is to struggle through stress and overwhelm on a daily basis. It's easy to fall into a pattern of wishing things, and people, and even ourselves, were different than they actually are. I remember a time in my life where everything and anything could be a source of frustration, anxiety or disappointment.

That is why I have dedicated 25 years to understanding the human condition, first through the holistic lens of Eastern Medicine, and then diving into the philosophy and practice of yoga. The final layer that transformed my personal success and fulfillment was intensive coaching and self-inquiry practice with The Work of Byron Katie.

Taking time to work on your challenges and patterns is a valuable investment in your own health, happiness and success, and compassionate and skillful support makes all the difference. I bring deep listening, powerful questions, and decades of expertise in untangling underlying patterns and accessing new perspectives and possibilities.

Breaking out of entrenched patterns of thinking and relating takes careful guidance and authentic, intuitive support. Are you ready to:

Feel more content and at ease within yourself on a daily basis

Listen to others from a genuine sense of curiosity and interest

Feel more confident to speak and share from your most authentic self

Integrate past challenges so they no longer limit your future potential

FAQs

Between work and home, I’m just on a hamster wheel of frustration. Can I break free without breaking everything?

Together, we'll take the time to explore these recurring patterns of frustration. We'll slow things down, listen carefully, and ask the right questions. We'll do this in a safe, calm environment, away from any triggers, so we can fully unpack what's happening. By understanding these patterns in detail, we gain insights that will help us change these dynamics and eventually dissolve them completely—without needing a new family, a new job, or a new life.

I’ve put real money and time into therapy, and things don’t change for me. How is this different?

Therapy is crucial for allowing us to share our story, be heard, and feel acknowledged—this is a fundamental aspect of mental health. However, therapy often doesn't provide the practical tools and actionable steps needed to help you shift into a new narrative or start writing the story of who you want to become. That’s where coaching comes in. Coaching offers the next step toward self-realization, helping you move forward and actively create the life you want to lead.

My partner is pretty cynical about improving our relationship, so what’s the point? It takes two, doesn’t it?

When one person wakes up and commits to doing their personal work, it can quickly transform the entire dynamic—reactions change, new possibilities arise, and roles shift. You cannot control your partner, and how they choose to think, speak or behave, but you can control whether you are centered, empowered and non-reactionary in your relationship. My role is to support you in finding answers within yourself, and use your insights to light a path forward.

I've watched your video, and feel like your approach might be a good fit for me. What's next?

I offer potential clients a free 30-minute consultation (phone or video call) to get to know each other a bit better. During that time, you can expect to get an overview of Insight Coach methods, a quick (but deep) dive into the everyday thoughts that are keeping you stuck, and my initial assessment of your personal patterns and how it shapes your persistent struggle.

THE client experience

Where Insights Get Results

"I used to think that helping others was how I showed love. In return for my help, I expected love back. After working with Marion, I realized that my life was centered on pleasing others and seeking their approval. Through a lot of self-reflection, I was able to break free from this old pattern of thinking. Now, I still enjoy helping others, but I no longer feel obligated or afraid that saying 'no' means I don't love them—or that they won't love me in return."

"I arrived at an inquiry session yesterday feeling negative, angry, confused and hopeless. Marion and I worked through an all-too-familiar scenario with my husband that has bothered me for a long time. The insights I gained about myself really helped me to cut through the noise and recenter myself. I left with solid next steps, feeling energized, clear and hopeful. Marion’s coaching is such a breath of fresh air!"

"The coaching process with Marion is so unique. It brings me peace and space, and the ability to be present with whatever happens. I am so grateful for this new approach to my life—it makes all the difference in the world."
